Aug 25, 2023

Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph's Prep wide receivers Brandon Rehmann (6-foot-1, 180) and David Washington Jr. (6-foot, 185) are in Lexington for the start of their official visits. Rivas was first to report. Washington took his first official visit to Virginia last weekend and Rehmann was at West Virginia. Washington has one other official visit set up with Wisconsin.

Rehmann is rated a .8800 on a scale to 1.000 by the 247Sports Composite, which equates to the nation's No. 79 wide receiver. He holds additional offers from Penn State, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee and Boston College.

Washington was rated a .8750 by the 247Sports Composite, which equates to the nation's No. 87 wide receiver. He has picked up additional offers from Michigan State, Oregon, Penn State, Wisconsin and Boston College during the process.

Columbus (Ohio) Pickerington North running back Sam Williams-Dixon and Cincinnati (Ohio) Withrow cornerback Terhyon Nichols began their official visits Monday. Each of the next two weekends feature roughly double digit attendees. The Wildcats signed offensive lineman Austin Ramsey from Roman Catholic in Phildaelphia.

Kentucky holds three commitments in the 2024 recruiting class from Lexington (Ky.) Christian Academy quarterback Cutter Boley, Independence (Ky.) Simon Kenton offensive lineman Aba Selm and Campbellsville (Ky.) Taylor County offensive lineman Hayes Johnson.

The NCAA recently announced that football recruits are allowed to take an unlimited number of official visits beginning in July of 2023. They had previously only been allowed to take five official visits. Schools are allowed to pay for recruits' travel, lodging, food and more over that 48-hour period. Schools are still only able to host 56 official visits each year, so they will have to snuff out which recruits are only interested in a free trip and which are actually interested in their program.
