God of War was my last platinum. I loved exploring every nook and cranny of the Norse realms, especially hunting down all the Valkyries—it was challenging yet rewarding.

I never got a platinium trophy before as I'm new to PlayStation but I'm currently trying to get one playing Hogwarts Legacy as it seems to be an easier reach than others. After that... let the platinium hunt begin !

A relatively old card game from the early 10's whose name I don't even remember. Although I'm only a couple of achievements away from the platinum trophy in Dark Souls 3. That's the only reason I'm still playing this game for several years now.

The last game that I got a platinum trophy in was probably persona 3 dancing. Either that or Child of Light.

I just checked and I've never gotten a platinum trophy, but I have gotten a bunch of gold trophies. On games like GTA 5 and call of duty.

Astro Bot, platinum trophied the game on my first play through and didn't even feel like I had to go out of my way to do so, amazing time.

I platinum trophied Astro Bot most recently, but Astro's Playroom was the first game I platinum trophied on PS5.

Playroom or bot?

I think my only platinum trophy was for Prototype a long time ago

Spider man 2, wish they made that game a bit harder...

destiny 2

Honestly don’t know or care about my trophies. I never needed a trophy to justify my gaming. Those “trophies” are the needs of millennials and Gen Zzz whose parents gave them a trophy every time they farted!

A Plague Tale: Innocence was my last platinum. I am working on Kena:Bridge of Spirits at the moment but the Master Level is brutal!

Sly Cooper 2

I got a platinum in spider man 2. It was such an amazing game to just play and get lost being a super hero.

I have only ever achieved two platinum trophies. The first was for Omno, and the most recent was for Sonic Origins. Both of which are simple platform games, so clearly I'm still a child, despite being almost 43...

Final Fantasy X. Literally 2 months ago, took me a while, that was not an easy platinum. Chocobo race and Lightning bolt dodging mini games I am looking at you.

I haven't played any of the more modern playstation games so I haven't earned any platinum trophies. But if I were to try I would probably go with Spider-man or Spider-man 2 also.

Possibly Persona 5 Royal or Persona 5 Strikers? I'm not very concerned about Platinum trophies, usually, so there are quite a few games I just never even got close to platinum even if I played them a lot

minecraft! challenging yet rewarding

Spider-Man 2 was the last platinum I got recently. I got the platinums in Mass Effect 1 & 2 this year... still working on 3. also, I finally got the platinum in Horizon Forbidden West a few months back. I like to take my time. I work through multiple games at once. I got one trophy left to get the platinum in Astro Bot. I'm also working on getting through the Talos Principle 2. That's a tough one...

My favorite platinum was from Titanfall 2. That training mission trophy was insane!

The last game I earned a platinum trophy for was Spider-Man: Miles Morales. It felt satisfying swinging through New York and completing all the challenges, plus the story was amazing.

😅😅 dead space

Days Gone. Took me forever to finally do it, but I did it.

Astro Bot was my last.

what a fantastic way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of PlayStation!

Like a Dragon Gaiden. Probably the easiest game from the Yakuza Series to achieve Platinum.

The last game I platinumed was Gow 3. Im always going to advocate for a great story. I will try to complete on higher difficulty. Grinding for platinum takes time. Enjoy the game I say. If you want chase the platinum

Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand - a really fun AA game. I don't normally go out of my way to get all of the trophies, but this is one of those games that was so much fun I just wanted to keep playing.

The latest platinum I earned was in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Its graphics and gameplay were fantastic, and I couldn’t stop until I had unlocked everything.

The last game that I platinumed was Daxter and before that, it was InFAMOUS Second Son.

Matagal PS4

elden ring. It was also the last time I cared about platinum trophy as I don't see trophy hunting appealing anymore

Not an easy feat this one. If we are to speak honestly, I never reached to platinum just because I lack the patience to go through each trophy requirement, so that I can gather them all. So no, no platinum for me yet

Elden ring was my last platinum

It was Astrobot; that game got me hooked quickly and the trophy came naturally. Loved it

Ha I don’t have very many, but the last game was Last of Us part 2

Haven't used a Sony gaming console since the Playstation 2. So you're asking the wrong guy.

Elden Ring!

God of War 2018 platinum earned about 2 or 3 weeks ago. What about you?

Can we be friends, bro?? I love seeing my fellow trophy hunters

The last game I earned a Platinum trophy for was Red Dead Redemption. I earned a few Platinum trophies and forgot which ones they were for, but the one I do remember was Spinning Plates since it was the last one I achieved before finishing the game. It was part of the DLC Undead Nightmare, and it was for having every territory saved at the same time.

The most recent game that I platinumed was Resident Evil 4 Remake, and despite taking me 170 hrs I thoroughly enjoyed it! Now I'm working on Jeanne D'Arc!

Happy gaming all!

I grinded for days but I finally got the platinum on Astrobot.

I never got a platinum trophy before. I'm not really into completing all the stuff.

I unfortunately have never reached platinum in a game- I'm generally moving on to the next one too quickly.

God Of War Ragnarok

heldivers I have like 300 hours in it now

I earned a platinum trophy for Astrobot, more difficult then I imagined but well worth the effort in the end.

I have never had the privilege of getting rewarded with a platinum trophy but i intend to once i get a console. So far, I have only gotten multiple achievements on Steam

Super Smash Bros is one of Nintendo's biggest franchises, and the version on the Switch brought a ton of new characters to the lineup. Some players pick their go-to character based on their own favorite character (I always go with Zelda or Samus), while others pick their character based on who they think has the best moveset overall. No matter who your favorite is, you're bound to find someone else who loves them too!

Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!I'll sing its praises until the cows come home, but Mad Max is a criminally underrated title. I'd put it right up there with Days Gone as far as story and gameplay is concerned - I find that they're stylistically very similar, so if you like Days Gone, you'll love Mad Max too. Despite it being almost a decade old, I think it still holds up now, and I always try to give it another playthough when I have time.

Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!My childhood consisted of coming home from school, watching WWE (or WWF, as it was once known), and firing up the good ol' PlayStation 1 for a game of Crash Bandicoot: Warped, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, or Spyro: Ripto's Rage (it's called Gateway to Glimmer where I'm from!). I'll never forget having to write numbers on my memory cards with liquid ink to ensure I kept track of what was saved on where!

Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!It's been said before, and I'll say it again – Bloodborne desperately needs a remaster, and if it's going to launch at any time, it might as well be a launch title for the PlayStation 6 to drive up sales. Speaking for myself, as someone who has yet to play Bloodborne but is a huge fan of FromSoftware's other work, playing a remastered version of this cult gothic classic would definitely make me want to get the console.

Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!Without question, the best RPG I've played on PlayStation is Skyrim. It's up there as one of my all-time favorite games and one I consistently come back to, whether it's been one month, one year, or three years. If we're talking PlayStation exclusives, though, I'd say Horizon: Zero Dawn would be my top pick. It was so unique and beautifully crafted, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will thoroughly enjoy the remaster when it drops!

Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!The PlayStation 2 was the first console I had as a young teenager, and the first game I really fell in love with on it was Jak 2. It can be debated whether the first and third games are better than the second one, but I have a lot of nostalgia for this one in particular. A strong runner-up would be Shadow of the Colossus, which was utterly jaw-dropping, especially for the time and the PS2 console generation.

Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!Being an avid reader and movie fan, I naturally gravitated towards titles that would tell a deep story when I really started to get into gaming, so I'd say RPGs. Pretty much all of my favorites, such as the Batman: Arkham and God of War franchises and Skyrim all left lasting impressions on me with their ability to let me feel like I was part of the very tale unfolding before me.

Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!It's really hard to overstate just how gorgeous Ghost of Tsushima can be (which makes me even more excited for Ghost of Yotei next year). Recently ported to PC, Ghost of Tsushima is a feast for the eyes in just about every scene – you don't even have to be a big fan of ancient Samurai aesthetics or classical Japanese artwork to appreciate how eye-catching the art direction is in this game.

Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!As much as having a wired controller can be a nice backup if you forget to charge your wireless controllers, I really don't miss how short some of those cords were and how easily they could get tangled on furniture. The original PS1 controller was so short you almost had to sit on the floor next to the console, which was also on the floor. Eventually wireless controllers became the norm and the PS5 completely phased out wired controllers. It's a bit like the transition from wired headphones to Bluetooth headphones across the tech industry - I don't miss getting all these cords mixed up as much as I thought I would.

Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!Admittedly, I've never really been drawn to horror games, just as I've never been an avid fan of horror films, but everyone I ask tells me that Amnesia: The Dark Descent certainly gets hearts racing. From personal experience, it would be Alan Wake 2, but even then I wouldn't say it was absolutely terrifying (although, it was a very, very good game!)

Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!Though it hasn't been a PlayStation-exclusive franchise since the first couple of PlayStation console generations, the first three Crash Bandicoot games were hugely influential on me as a wee gamer. They're ridiculously fun even by today's standards, and though they weren't the first games I ever played, without Crash Bandicoot 1-3 I don't think I'd have the same appreciation for wacky, well-designed platformers that I do now.

I pre-ordered Days Gone because it was a survival game set in a zombie-riddled world, and the trailers looked great. I knew this game was right for me but when the reviews started coming out I got a little scared. I'm glad to say I wasn't disappointed, and despite a few rendering issues, it ran just fine on my PS4. I often go back to it and wish I could relive the first time I played it.

Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!The Twisted Metal series is one of the most iconic PlayStation games of all time, but aside from the 2023 TV adaptation, we haven't seen a new Twisted Metal entry for more than 12 years. The over-the-top violence and fun driving mechanics comprised a simple but ridiculously fun concept that led to a lot of games in the late 90s and 2000s, but we haven't heard barely a peep since 2012. With all the leaps in technology since the PS3 era, a bombastic, modernized remake of the first Twisted Metal game could do wonders to reboot the series' popularity and make for a good competitor in the relatively sparse party racing genre.

While I've only just kicked off my playthrough, my in-game decisions seem to be gaining the approval of Neve, so I'll aim to romance her in my first playthrough. There are quite a few options, though, I'll give Bioware credit for that!

I can appreciate the whole modern day storyline behind every Assassin's Creed game, but I honestly wouldn't mind if it was taken out of the picture completely. Every time an AC game shifts to the modern era, I always find myself wishing the segment would just get on with it so I can go back to running around and poking people in ancient cities.

Even though I always get the Fortnite Starter Packs because of the cheap V-Bucks, I enjoy these cheaper packs for the cosmetics as well. This is why my favorite Starter Pack isn't even aimed at Battle Royale players.I'm not much of a LEGO Fortnite but when I saw the Brite Agent skin I couldn't resist getting the Operation Brite Starter Pack, which is why it's my #1 favorite.

FPS games are usually released for various platforms, but this isn't always the case. Here are some titles that started as PC exclusives.

During the Trial of the Dragon: Essence of Power quest in Metaphor: ReFantazio, players will face the Elegy Of The Soul boss. Here's how to beat it.

Way back in the day, I must have put thousands of hours into RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, and I returned to it pretty regularly until the release of the first Planet Coaster. But as good as Planet Coaster is (and how good Planet Coaster 2 is shaping up to be), I'll always have the urge to go back to RT3. Despite its age, it's still the least buggy and most satisfying theme park game I've ever played to this day.
